Berlin meets Latvia & Lithuania

On the 7th of March Latvian & Lithuanian companies from the ICT sector traveled to Berlin to participate in a high-rank event at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Berlin.
The event gathered companies from the ICT sector from Latvia & Lithuania as well as Berlin-based companies.
Latvian Ambassador to Germany, Mrs. Alda Vanaga and Lithuanian Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Ramūnas Misiulis, opened the event together and expressed their support for such initiatives that aim to strengthen relations between Berlin and Latvia & Lithuania.
René Ebert, Managing Director of SIBB e. V. together with Steffen David, board member of SIBB e. V. and CEO of IPB Internet Provider in Berlin GmbH greeted an audience with welcoming speech.
After the welcoming speech, René Ebert, gave a comprehensive overview of ICT scene in Berlin Metropolitan Area.
Markus Facklam (Coordinator International) from Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH made a presentation about tech and startup scene and most important data, which makes Berlin emerging tech& startup European Hub.
Latvian & Lithuanian companies had also a possibility to shortly present their companies.
All participants used a time to get to know each other and had networking session in loose atmosphere. We are Looking forward to our new successful joint initiatives!
