On 16th September SIBB hosted delegation from World Trade Centre Utah: Miles Hansen, President, CEO, & Chief Export Officer and Aaron Starks, Chief Revenue Officer & Managing Director Global Business Services. Utah claims to be the crossroads of the world. With its convenient location and good transport infrastructure Utah state is attracting more and more companies. One of the youngest states in the US has many common points with Berlin metropolitan area. State regularly attract more and more startups with its soft-landing programmes and market entry services support. Multilingual environment with and diverse academic background make the state even more competitive. Key industries are: defence, aerospace, drones technologies, advance materials and composites, health innovation and broad sector of software services.
Among Utah unicorns – FinTechs Divvy & MX Technologies, predictive marketing platform XANT.ai, collaboration platform Lucid, security automation – Venafi and customer communication platform Podium.
Our quests had a chance to meet one of our Startup Stipendium scholarschip holder-Sermonis.AI. It was great occasion to talk about financing opportunities and trends in the US in relation to AI.
