On 13.04.2021 the 8th edition of Berlin meets USA event series organized by SIBB e.V. in partnership with Berlin Business Office in NYC and Berlin Partner for Business and Technology gathered international EdTech experts and practitioners exploring the innovation trends in EdTech and connect American and German companies.
· Christian Rebernick from Tomorrow’s Education GmbH had revealed the techniques of challenge-based learning and invited attendees to enroll to the first official Master Program in Economy and starting already on 22th of April.
· Ash Kaluarachchi, Co-Founder of StartEd and producer of EDTECHWEEK, shared modern insights from the industry landscape in US and talked on the topic of the character of EdTech enterprises.
· Alok Jain has introduced the story of Moonshot Jr Inc growth into the company operating in 14 countries. check the success stories of young Moonshot Jr graduates!
· Stephan Bayer from sofatutor GmbH described the journey from B2C to the backbone of German Homeschooling with more than 2 mln active learners.
· Frederik Eichler, SciFlow GmbH, presented trends in digital academic publishing and talked about rethinking the collaborative writing in universities.
Between the presentations, 5 rounds of business speed date took place. In their feedback, participants mentioned that this format of engagement has facilitated more contacts in comparison to usual network sessions and was fun and entertaining.
On the group panel our speakers have discussed specifics of launching business in Germany and Europe, acquiring first customers for startups. EdTech experts gave their advices about ignoring noise from the market and shared the words of motivations for companies expanding internationally across the Atlantic Ocean.
