Born in Berlin on March 25, 1962, studied computer science at the Technical University of Berlin. Thomas Schröter was an entrepreneur and managing director of software companies with more than 140 employees in the IT industry for over 17 years. He gained extensive international experience by founding companies in Great Britain, France and India, among others, as well as during the takeover of a company in the USA. Career stations:
In May 2005, Thomas Schröter was elected to the board of SIBB, and he has been chairman of the board since 2014. A particular focus of his work is improving the framework conditions for companies in the digital economy. This includes attractive funding offers, an active investor scene and intensive exchange with politics and public administration in the context of digitalization. He initiated the Forum Finance of SIBB, was the representative of the IT and Internet industry at the BBB Bürgschaftsbank zu Berlin Brandenburg for many years and today heads the "Politics & Public Sector" forum.

Born in Potsdam in 1971; MBA Information Technology at the University of Potsdam; self-employed entrepreneur since 1994; co-founder of Derdack GmbH in 1999. Professional background:
Matthes Derdack is particularly involved in the topics of internationalization and Industry 4.0/Internet of Things at SIBB.

As managing director of sys-pro GmbH, Harald Dittmar is a specialist for IT solutions in the core areas of production, goods logistics, distribution and POS.
Career:
Harald Dittmar has already actively promoted the SIBB Forum Digital Platforms & Technologies in the past. He would like to contribute to the networking of medium-sized companies in order to strengthen the digital economy in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. In addition, he would like to bring the idea of the common good economy to SIBB e.V. and its members.

Mr. Zorn is particularly involved in the field of eHealth at SIBB.

Steffen David is founder and managing director of IPB Internet Provider in Berlin GmbH (IPB). With its CarrierColo® brand, IPB is one of Berlin's most important data center operators. David brings special expertise from the data center, managed services and cloud sectors.
Career:
As a new board member at SIBB e.V., Steffen David is committed to focusing on regional providers in order to further strengthen SIBB e.V. as a point of contact in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. David wants to build organizational bridges to other associations and societies.
For SIBB members, and especially with an eye on the next generation, David is keen to get closer to the technological background of the Internet and its security requirements.
