Project LookOut: German-Polish B2B Contacts

2014 -2019

The LookOut project was funded by the Berlin Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Operations and by the European Regional Development Fund in the period from 2014 to 2019. Thanks to the support within the framework of the "Program for Internationalization (PfI)", the project developed its full potential in recent years to become an active platform for digital economy cooperation between Berlin and Poland.

The LookOut project is the network for cooperation between IT industry from the German capital region and the Polish tech centres in Kraków, Szczecin, Warszawa and Wrocław. New growth opportunities are opening up for companies from the capital region and Poland through trustworthy, cross-national economic activities

Promoting innovative technologies by developing international cooperation in the IT&ICT sector between Berlin/Brandenburg and the Polish regions of Kraków, Szczecin, Warszawa and Wrocław.

Long-term and sustainable cooperation with individual regions of Poland.
Development of bilateral complementary business contacts.
Support in the search for local strategic partners for possible market expansion or foreign investment (in Berlin for Polish companies, in Polish cities for Berlin companies).
Assistance for start-ups from the respective regions with a foreign market entry / financing and search for investors.
Effective communication in the areas of know-how transfer, knowledge exchange, complementing the portfolio of products and services.
Development of joint projects in the following areas: Design and development of products and services, investment and development of financing sources, application of technological innovations and support of research and development activities.
