Since April of this year, Kuwala is one of our 8 SIBB startup teams that can enjoy one of the best conditions to successfully launching their prospective company due to the deep tech startup scholarship.
An important component of the scholarship is the mentoring program, by giving teams personal support from experienced business leaders from the SIBB network and beyond. Carsten Zaddach, CEO of our member company BDE GmbH was the first choice for Kuwala due to his long experience as data engineer and success in the industry. And as we found out from the startup team - it is a perfect fit.
In several sessions online, and most recently also the first time in-person, the team was able to gain deep insights into their customer's perspective and their common problems. This and other advice and learning help the founders to avoid typical mistakes as a new company and increase the chances immensely to start successfully with their own product on the market. Therefore, we are very happy that Carsten Zaddach has taken on this role as mentor for our young startup team and that the cooperation works not just on the professional level but that they also get along very well on a human level.
