Almost 20 participants, representatives of businesses and startups joined SIBB business delegation to Wroclaw (Poland), which for few days 19-21 October 2021 become the place to be for tech community.
Our delegation took an opportunity of synergy between two big events: 14th edition of the Wolves Summit, the largest tech event in Central Eastern Europe and Made in Wroclaw conference .
Individual matchmaking meetings with companies and investors from the whole globe, participation of Optimo and Sermonis.AI, two teams of SIBB Startup Stipendium programme in Pitch Contest were just a few highlights of the first part of the intensive programme. René Ebert, Managing Director of SIBB e.V shared Berlin and Brandenburg experiences in terms of Technology Transfer and collaboration between business and universities.
Building bridges and networking between German and Polish companies for identification of collaboration areas at the core of Deep Tech Hub Poland mission. Networking meeting with IT Corner members- Wroclaw based companies was very successful. Overlapping themes, common industrial focus, and readiness to open conversation in speed dating manner was a great opportunity to getting to know each other and exchange business ideas to be continued in the future.
Almost 100 participants gathered late evening 20. October thanks to shared efforts of SIBB e.V, ITCorner, Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency (ARAW), Concordia Design Hub and Wolves Summit team.
After panel "Softwarehouses, startups and VC - how to cooperate effectively within this highly competitive environment!" with international speakers networking part of the event has started. Especially for that event representatives of IT clusters from Rzeszow, Szczecin and Gliwice travelled from different parts of Poland.
On the last day of delegation, the group has been hosted by JustRelate company, member of SIBB in their Wroclaw office. As a successful company which operates in both countries: Poland and Germany shared their reflections and lessons learned in aspects of running HR and marketing operations in both countries. The discussion was complemented by the experience of interatec Gmbh, which also successfully operates in both markets.
