Mandatory internship
Digital Communications & Marketing (m/f/d)

We are home to startups and tech companies in the capital region. Together with our 200 member companies, we are working to create a livable digital future. To this end, we organize over 80 events a year and reach over 12,000 subscribers with our weekly newsletter. During your mandatory internship, you will learn everything about content production, content management, events, and digital communication. And if it works out for both sides, we will hire you as a working student after your internship.

You will learn:


  • Newsletter: Independent creation and distribution of our weekly newsletter, content research, visual design, A/B testing, analysis, and optimization of content strategy

  • LinkedIn: Content planning and implementation, community management, data analysis, and reporting

  • Website: Optimization and maintenance of the SIBB website and content production (images and text), SEO and GEO

  • Office Management & Events: Support with organizing and running events, technical event support (video and audio recording)

  • Modern tools: Eventbrite, LinkedIn, Canva, WordPress, Mailchimp, etc.

What you bring to the table:


  • Interest in the digital economy and the startup ecosystem

  • Student of business communication, media studies, marketing, or comparable degree programs (please include proof of mandatory internship)

  • Initial practical experience is an advantage

  • Excellent German and good English skills

  • Structured, independent working style and organizational skills

  • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and good organizational skills

SIBB e.V. is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Innovation Manager for AI & Digital Transformation, effective May 1, 2026, as part of the EU-funded European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH). In this role, you will help design practical support services for companies in Berlin-Brandenburg. Who we are: SIBB e.V. is the Berlin-Brandenburg Digital Association. We connect stakeholders from business, technology, innovation, and politics, and are committed to fostering a strong digital economy in the capital region.
As part of the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH), we work with partners to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and other organizations in their digital transformation. Our contribution lies primarily in the development and implementation of practical formats in the areas of Skills & Training and Innovation & Networking.

Your tasks


  • You will design, organize, and facilitate hands-on training sessions, webinars, and workshops on topics such as AI, digital transformation, and process digitization.

  • You identify relevant needs, challenges, and use cases within companies, particularly in the SME sector.

  • You translate technological developments and digital trends into clear, practical formats and offerings.

  • You will collaborate with experts, member companies, and project partners and involve them in thematic initiatives.

  • You will support the engagement and networking of companies within the EDIH framework and bring together the right stakeholders, needs, and offerings.

  • You will help design and implement exchange, knowledge transfer, and networking initiatives.

  • You will work closely with internal colleagues and project partners to ensure that project activities are documented and tracked in a structured manner.

Your profile


  • You have a college degree or comparable relevant professional experience.

  • You have experience in one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, process digitization, or innovation and technology transfer projects.

  • You have experience in designing, conducting, or facilitating workshops, training sessions, webinars, or similar formats.

  • You can explain complex topics in a clear, structured, and audience-appropriate manner.

  • You enjoy working with companies, stakeholders, and partner organizations.

  • You work independently, reliably, and in an organized manner.

  • You have excellent written and spoken German skills, as well as good written and spoken English skills.

Ideally, you should also have


  • Experience in EU-funded projects or publicly funded innovation programs

  • Knowledge of the digital, startup, or AI ecosystem in Berlin or Brandenburg

Senior Community Manager for 5G/6G (m/f/d)

You will connect providers and users of cutting-edge 5G/6G technologies in Germany and drive the transfer of innovation. Your goal is to expand and professionalize the “Innovationscluster 5G Berlin e.V.” In this role, you will play a key part and work closely with the association.


  • Workload: Part-time (60–80%)

  • Work arrangement: approximately 80% remote, hybrid in Berlin

  • Term: through December 31, 2027

Your tasks


  • Administration: Independent administrative management of the association, including budget planning and monitoring, ensuring that growth targets are met, handling incoming and outgoing invoices (accounting is handled externally), and other administrative tasks necessary for the association’s day-to-day operations.

  • Public Relations & Communications: Developing and implementing communication strategies, including the website, LinkedIn, newsletters, and press relations.

  • Member Relations & Recruitment: Maintaining relationships with existing members and actively supporting the Board of Directors in recruiting new members from the business and research communities.

  • Event organization: Occasional planning and execution of workshops and networking events (as a facilitator) throughout Germany, as well as attendance at relevant events.

  • Project Coordination: Coordination of association projects.

  • Fundraising: Identifying funding opportunities, securing external funding, coordinating project proposals

Your profile


  • You have a college degree (ideally in a relevant field such as communications, business, engineering, or similar)

  • At least five years of professional experience

  • Excellent knowledge of German and English (at least C1 level)

  • Organizational skills and the ability to work independently and in a structured manner

  • Proficiency in common Office applications, content management systems, and social media platforms (LinkedIn)

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for networking

  • You have excellent written and spoken German skills, as well as good written and spoken English skills.

  • A strong interest in and in-depth knowledge of digitalization, telecommunications, and innovative technologies are a plus

  • Willingness to travel occasionally
