Companies in the software, information and communications industry (ICT) that are based or operate in Berlin-Brandenburg can become full members. Business associations with a connection to the industry are also eligible.
Organizations or individuals who do not meet all the criteria for full membership but wish to support the goals of the association can become supporting members.
Honorary memberships are awarded to individuals who have rendered outstanding services to the industry.
Interested parties must submit a written application for membership to the Board of Directors or the management.
This must include
- Name and legal form of the company
- Address or registered office
- Authorized representatives
- Number of employees in Germany
- The Board of Directors decides on admission (delegated to the management if necessary).
The amount of the admission fee and the annual membership fee is based on the number of employees (full-time equivalent) employed in Germany at the beginning of the calendar year.
Example:
- up to 9 employees: 250 € admission fee + 500 € annual fee
- over 1000 employees: € 2,000 admission fee + € 4,000 annual membership fee

There is no admission fee for companies that have been established within the last two years.
The membership fee is due annually on January 1.
In the year of joining, the fee is calculated pro rata from the quarter in which you join. Example: If you join in July, you pay 50% of the annual membership fee.
Membership runs indefinitely.
Termination is possible at the end of the year with a notice period of three months and must be sent by registered letter to the Board of Directors or the management.
Membership expires upon resignation or expulsion. Contributions or fees already paid will not be refunded. There is no entitlement to shares in the association's assets.
No. Only ordinary members have the right to vote at the General Meeting. Supporting members and honorary members can participate in an advisory capacity, but cannot vote.
