We are a partner of the Green Health Accelerator, a program that connects greentech start-ups with players in the healthcare sector in order to sustainably reduce CO₂ emissions in the healthcare sector.

The healthcare sector is one of the world's biggest emitters of greenhouse gases - if it were a country, it would be in fifth place. This is precisely where the Accelerator comes in, bringing climate-relevant innovations to where they can have a direct impact: hospitals, care facilities and medical care centers.

The Green Health Accelerator is aimed at start-ups that develop solutions in areas such as:

  • Waste Management & Food Technology,
  • intelligent buildings & energy,
  • intelligent materials & recycling,
  • Logistics & Mobility

and want to apply them specifically in the healthcare sector.

The program offers 6 months of individual coaching, access to test environments and pilot projects, as well as access to a strong partner network from business, research and politics. It is organized as a hybrid program, free of charge (equity-free) and specifically tailored to the needs of early-stage start-ups.

The benefits for participating start-ups include:

  • Tailor-made coaching by experts from the healthcare industry, sustainability and entrepreneurship
  • Access to real test environments in clinics and care facilities
  • Networking with decision-makers from healthcare, politics and industry
  • Support for the piloting and market launch of sustainable solutions
  • Micro-learning & pitch training to strengthen the growth strategy and investor communication

Over the next two years, the regional focus will be on Brandenburg, Saxony, Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in particular - with the aim of making sustainable innovations visible and effective in rural and suburban regions.

Whether early-stage start-ups, innovative clinics or climate-conscious administrations: the Green Health Accelerator creates the structures and connections to make the healthcare sector an active part of the climate transition.

Startups can apply now - the application deadline is July 30, 2025. More information and application at: www.greenhealthaccelerator.de
