The LookOut project is a network for cooperation between the IT industry in the German capital region and the Polish IT centers in Kraków, Szczecin, Warsaw and Wrocław.
Searching for and finding new business contacts across the national border: new growth opportunities are opening up for companies from the capital region and Poland through trust-based, cross-border business.
As part of the project, numerous measures were taken to promote cooperation with Polish partners. The focus was on finding solutions for developing and testing applications in cooperation. In addition, the concept of a Polish branch was considered in order to be geographically closer to potential partners and to implement European projects, particularly within the framework of EU funding programs. Another aim was to gain Polish partners and customers for IT products and to intensify contact with Polish groups and large industrial companies. The possibility of offshoring, nearshoring, onshoring and outsourcing in Poland was also taken into account. Start-ups received targeted support in their search for financing rounds from Polish funds, as well as in presenting themselves as speakers at conferences and meet-ups in Poland.
