Low-Code Day is a manufacturer-neutral conference that focuses on the potential, applications, and technological prospects of low-code and no-code platforms. As an association for the digital economy, SIBB e. V. initiated the first Berlin Low-Code Day together with its member companies and implemented it as its own event format in 2019.

On October 24, 2019, the first Berlin Low-Code Day took place at the Spielfeld Digital Hub in Berlin – organized by SIBB as the association for the digital economy in the region. The one-day conference brought together leading experts, providers, and users from business and administration around the topic of low-code and no-code, including keynotes, specialist presentations, interactive sessions, and practice-oriented workshops.

This event laid the foundation for further activities in the low-code and no-code environment. The joint commitment of SIBB members and other stakeholders led to the creation of the Low-Code Association e. V. in 2021, an association in the German-speaking region dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of low-code technologies.

SIBB was the main organizer of Low-Code Day in its early years and played a leading role in organizing the conference during this time. At the same time, the association supported the preparation and accompaniment of the founding of the Low-Code Association, in which SIBB continues to be an active supporting partner.
Today, German Low-Code Day—the successor to the original event—is an established platform for knowledge transfer, exchange, and networking around low-code and no-code technologies. It takes place annually and is aimed at CIOs, CTOs, developers, decision-makers, and those responsible for digitalization.
